Anna Kendrick was spotted in New York today, likely on her way to promote her upcoming film “Another Simple Favor.” The thespian is currently on the press tour for the sequel.
The “Pitch Perfect” star took Chinatown by storm, sporting a classy pair of navy blue sandal heels. The chosen style featured satin blue uppers, accompanied by thin straps that sat across the tops of Kendrick’s toes and around her ankles. Sculptural bow-inspired detailing could be seen on the straps across her toes, creating dimension, setting the style apart from other sandal heels.
Adjustable buckle closures offered Kendrick’s footwear a custom fit, while open square toes created a futuristic finish. Finally, 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels finished off the set, creating a subtle boost in height. The sculptural detailing is hard to find on most other styles, given that the design is so unique.
The Tony Award nominee opted for a retro-inspired ensemble, also in blue hues. On top, Kendrick donned a light blue vest cropped top paired with a maxi-length skirt from Giambattista Valli. The skirt featured a light blue, dark blue and ivory colorscheme with vegital motifs throughout.
When it comes to footwear, the “Love Life” actress’ red carpet footwear often consists of sleek pumps and sandals by Jimmy Choo, Alexandre Birman and Chloe Gosselin. Kendrick’s shoe wardrobe also features pointed-toe heels and platforms from brands like Giuseppe Zanotti, Fabrizio Viti and Malone Souliers.
Kendrick is currently promoting her latest film, “Another Simple Favor,” which will premiere in theaters on March 7. Directed by Paul Feig, the film follows the character Stephanie Smothers, who agrees to travel to Italy to be the maid of honour for the devious and cunning Emily Nelson, played by Blake Lively. However, she soon suspects Emily’s good will is part of an elaborate plan for revenge. The film serves as a sequel to “A Simple Favor,” also featuring Kendrick and Lively.
