Lionel Richie Suits Up With Girlfriend Lisa Parigi in Sparkling Plunging Dress at American Music Awards 2022 Red Carpet
Lionel Richie and his girlfriend Lisa Parigi arrived in striking designs at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday at the 2022 American Music Awards.
Richie is set to receive this year’s Icon Award, fresh off his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
The singer opted for a double-lapel, single-breasted tuxedo jacket engraved with monochromatic floral patterns. The silver notch buckle of the jacket offered a unique feel to modern suiting. He paired the asymmetrical silhouette with black slacks and accessorized with suede boots.
Parigi wore a long-sleeve black sequined dress that featured a slightly padded shoulder silhouette along with a plunging neckline. Draped and ruched detailing began below the bodice and accentuated the open-slit hem of the dress.

She coordinated the black dress with a pink lip, a pink manicure and pedicure and a sleek middle-parted hairstyle. For accessories, Parigi wore long dangling earrings, a beaming clutch and finalized the look with open-toe gold stiletto sandals.
The AMAs honors the year’s top achievements in the music industry — and claims the honor of being the largest fan-voted awards show in the world. The 2022 ceremony, hosted by Wayne Brady on Nov. 20 in Los Angeles, will feature a range of performances by Carrie Underwood Imagine Dragons, David Guetta and Anitta. The evening will also include a musical tribute to Lionel Richie — winner of the event’s 2022 Icon Award — by Charlie Puth, Stevie Wonder and Ari Lennox, as well as a performance by Pink in honor of the late Olivia Newton-John.
