Danish comfort-forward footwear brand Ecco has tapped eternal “It-girl” Chloë Sevigny as the star of their Spring 2025 campaign.
Ecco‘s “Icons That Last” campaign hopes to “inspire women to express themselves and reach their potential,” making the indie film star an apt model.
The picturesque images were shot and directed by photographer Brianna Capozzi at a brutalist villa in Los Angeles and styled by Karolyn Pho, who also recently styled Mikey Madison for “British GQ,” Adrien Brody for Lemaire, and Daisy Edgar Jones for “Vogue Korea.”
For the shoot, Sevigny chose the Spring 2025 designs that most spoke to her playful sense of style. She wore a new season eggshell-colored pair of the head-turning Biom C-Trail lace-up ballerina sneakers, which she’s worn to trek the streets of New York while off-duty. The trendy sneaker was designed in collaboration with Ecco’s long-term creative partner Natacha Ramsay-Levi, and also comes in all-black.
In the campaign, the “Boys Don’t Cry”-star also wears a silver-and-white pair of the sporty Biom C-Trail sneakers. Her final look features the minimal Sculpted Alba slide sandals in black (which also come in silver and pastel yellow) paired with the sleek cylindrical Pot bag.
”I am thrilled to partner with Ecco on this campaign, there’s an authenticity to the brand I admire — it’s unpretentious and effortless. I love how Ecco pays as much attention to how things feel as how they look. True style to me means having the freedom to express myself and live uninhibited, which is something I always feel when I wear Ecco,” Sevigny said in the press release.
Ecco’s Spring 2025 footwear collection also includes a metallic silver ballet flat, several sneakers, and multiple sandals, mules and slingbacks with trendy-yet-comfortable block heels in silver, black and light yellow. All of the open-toed silhouettes from the collection are part of Ecco’s Sculpted family, which uses their trademarked Fluidform Direct PU injection technology, aiming for all-day comfort. There are also four classic, minimalist leather purses, inclusive of Sevigny’s Pot bag.
The Spring 2025 women’s collection is available starting today at select Ecco stores and at ecco.com.
The Oscar nominee is the current shoe “It-girl,” as she recently starred in Jimmy Choo’s “Hyper Glamour” Spring 2025 campaign.
