Pink brought her rockstar style to the American Music Awards 2022 in Los Angeles tonight. The singer, who is set to perform her new single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” at the ceremony, arrived in a vintage Bob Mackie sequined dress and studded platforms.
The dress featured a zigzag cutout down the center of the bodice, with sequins all over and an asymmetrical thigh-high slit. Pink posed on the black carpet flaunting the dress’s open-back silhouette which met at a v-shape hem below the torso. The yellow portion of the dress incorporated a rainfall of green and orange sequined strings behind the open slit.
As for the accessories, even her silver hoops were accompanied by a dose of lightning-shaped teardrop earrings.
The singer elevated her Bob Mackie look with open-toe pumps covered in a plethora of silver studs throughout the entire circumference of the heel. The shoes featured a platform base with block heels reaching 5 inches in height.
Her husband, Carey Hart, and their two children, Willow Sage Hart and Jameson Moon Hart accompanied the pop star on the black carpet. They posed for a family photo-op and each wore monochromatic attire.
The AMAs honor the year’s top achievements in the music industry — and claims the honor of being the largest fan-voted awards show in the world. The 2022 ceremony, hosted by Wayne Brady on Nov. 20 in Los Angeles, will feature a range of performances by Carrie Underwood Imagine Dragons, David Guetta and Anitta. The evening will also include a musical tribute to Lionel Richie — winner of the event’s 2022 Icon Award — by Charlie Puth, Stevie Wonder and Ari Lennox, as well as a performance by Pink in honor of the late Olivia Newton-John.
