Tia Mowry Runs Fashionably Late in 6-Inch Heels & Skintight Latex Skirt

Tia Mowry was chicly late in her latest Instagram post.
The “Sister, Sister” actress shared a humorous video on Instagram yesterday wearing a skintight pencil skirt and platform leather heels. The monochromatic look had all to do with the message behind the video: “POV: You’re running late for work but decided to break in your new heels and skirt today.”
Mowry’s black latex skirt featured a denim-like accent at the waist and an open-slit silhouette toward the back — giving all the visibility to the heels’ counter support ankle strap.
Strutting comfortably in 6-inch heels is a mission to conquer. The height of the heel may feel intimidating for some, but when the platform is just as thick as the heel, it provides a cushion and a sense of safety for the one wearing the sandal.
Two styles similar to Mowry’s pair are the Naked Wolfe Daria heel with a pointed-toe finish and the Paris Texas Dalilah satin platform pumps from the brand’s fall 2022 collection featuring a thick 5-inch heel made of black satin texture.

Mowry went from double-strap sandals to platform pumps this month, all seen throughout her Instagram reels. Although they are opposing styles, she complemented both black-hued heels with monochromatic outfits.
Mowry often wears strappy sandals for everyday occasions or nights out — plus sharp pointed-toe pumps from top brands Jessica Rich, Stuart Weitzman and Christian Louboutin — plus affordable brands Steve Madden and Topshop. Aside from heels, she’s also been spotted in Aperlai boots and Nike sneakers while off-duty over the years.
