The “Dawson’s Creek” alumna made an appearance alongside the likes of Lil’ Kim and Alicia Silverstone for last night’s Christian Siriano show. Holmes herself opted for a bold twist on fall trends for the outing, modeling a silver-sliced suit from the designer’s collections.

As for Katie Holmes, the actress completed her own twist on fall’s favorite suited trend in an effortlessly chic pair of black boots. The pointed-toe pair peeped out from under the long hem of her pants and featured a sleek patent cap-toe finish.
When it comes to Holmes’ own chic style, the star of “The Secret” movie oftentimes favors on-trend silhouettes that are just as stylish as her outfit of choice. The 42-year-old is known for her top-of-the-line style, matching her go-to fall combo — relaxed pants, an oversize coat and a casual top —with everything from Veja sneakers to Re/done kicks and flare-heel Dorateymur boots.
