In conjunction with Luisaviaroma’s Firenze4Ever Tech Dreamers media event, held in Florence from Jan. 9-11, Casadei has collaborated with the retailer and Swarovski on a limited-edition shoe.
Luisaviaroma holds a media event twice a year, with this one celebrating the site’s 10th anniversary. The theme was technology through fashion, art, music and design. The collab’s classic slingback style features Swarovski crystal floral embroidery and Casadei’s signature blade heel.
The shoes retail for $2,415 and will be available through Feb. 28. Swarovski also took part in the Crystal Couture Exhibition, which presents pieces by designers including Alberta Ferretti, Balmain, Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, Alexandre Vauthier and more through Jan. 24 at the Luisaviaroma Concept Store.
In late 2015, Casadei opened a flagship in Rome using its new store concept, which will also be implemented at store openings this year in Milan and Moscow.
The brand is looking to open flagship stores in China, Serbia, Vietnam and Kuwait and direct-sales outlets in London and Paris.
