Pharrell Williams has a way with style, especially when it comes to shoes. The star appeared this morning on the “Today” show and showed off Timberland‘s Mono Grey boots.
Williams is a fan of the brand and a collaborator, including his buzzed-about Bee Line x Timberland collection, which is a hit with the celebrity set. On the show, Williams dished about the current season of “The Voice,” including the romance that sparked on the set between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
“It’s so beautiful, because being there, I watched them go through a lot,” he said. “You hate to see your friends go through something so heavy, and it’s kind of like a miracle, man — just watching that.”
The Timberlands that Williams was wearing sparked controversy online recently, when Facebook users compared the extra laces to a “noose.” However, the company has a history of including this lacing system, which is not a new feature.
The six-inch premium boot was released late last month and features a grey suede-constructed upper.
