Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds were guests of the White House last night for a state dinner honoring new Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

Lively attended the dinner wearing a Ralph & Russo dress and a pair of nude strappy sandals by one of her favorite shoe designers, Christian Louboutin.

The state dinner brought many big names together, such as comedian Mike Myers and actress Sandra Oh (who are natives of Canada, same as Reynolds), as well as NBA commissioner Adam Silver. First lady Michelle Obama stepped out in a Jason Wu gown for the occasion with strappy heels.

Lively stood out in the crowd with her fashion-forward choice paired with simple heels that supported the whole feminine look. The actress is a big fan of the label.

Last month, she was spotted making a stop at the Louboutin store in New York City during fashion week and promptly showed off her new find on Instagram.
