Jenn Rogien, costume designer for TV hits “Girls” and “Orange Is the New Black,” knows standout shoes. Here’s a look inside her well-stocked closet.

NUMBER OF PAIRS: “More than I want to admit on record — dozens, maybe close to 80. An occupational hazard.”

BRANDS: Alexander Wang, Coach, Frye, Givenchy, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, Miu Miu, Prada, Rebecca Minkoff, Stuart Weitzman, Sophia Webster and Sorel. “Also a couple of pairs of old cowboy boots and a stray vintage heel or two.”

FIRST DESIGNER PURCHASE: “Prada mixed-media d’Orsay pumps [that I got] on sale at Saks, plus my employee discount. I remember them being just over $100 and so quirky that no one else wanted them. I still think they’re fab.”

CELEBRITY CLOSET I’D LIKE TO RAID: “Leandra Medine [The Man Repeller] and Jenna Lyons.”

FAVORITE FOOTWEAR FOR WORKING ON THE “GIRLS” SET: “A sandal with a chunky heel or wedge. We’re supposed to wear closed-toe shoes at all times [for safety], but I spend so much time out shopping or in fittings that I can usually get away with a sandal. On the days I know I’ll be on set, though, I plan my footwear accordingly: closed-toe styles for sure.”

“GIRLS” ACTRESS I’D LIKE TO SWAP SHOES WITH: “Both Lena [Dunham] and Allison [Williams]. Allison’s red-carpet shoe game is amazing, and Lena has the most charming loafer assortment I’ve ever seen.”

“OITNB” ACTRESS I’D LIKE TO SWAP SHOES WITH: “Taylor Schilling. I love her casual, minimal vibe, which is pretty much the opposite of mine.”

LAST PAIR I PURCHASED: “Coach silver metallic kitten-heel loafers that I’ve been wearing to death.”

GO-TO SNEAKER: “Sneakers are fitness-only in my world. I alternate between a pair of Mizunos and a pair of Asics, both brightly colored. I recently started buying super- bright sneakers aspirationally — maybe I can become a girl who wears sneakers on the regular? The entire team at ‘Girls’ commented on my wearing sneakers to work as part of a casual Friday look.”

MOST EXPENSIVE STYLE: “A teal suede Nicholas Kirkwood pair with a black organza pleated ruffle up the heel. They have a crazy-high platform. I bought them to wear with an orange lace dress when I was nominated for a Costume Designers Guild award.”

PAIR I’LL NEVER PART WITH: “The first Pradas I bought at my first job, and my Pedro Garcia navy satin heels from my wedding that still have a sixpence taped to the instep, per my grandma’s British wedding tradition. The Brit saying is, ‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe.’”

FAVORITE WEEKEND STYLES: “Gladiator sandals in the summer, combat and moto boots in the spring and fall, and Sorel’s Joan of Arctic wedges for winter.”
