Adidas continues to boost its collab game. The German giant today unveiled a partnership with contemporary menswear brand Wings + Horns that will give a new treatment to one of its hottest sneakers: the Stan Smith.
The tweaked Stan Smiths are part of Adidas’ latest collaboration that also includes a mix of T-shirts and bomber jackets. Apparel prices ranges from $70 to $495; the sneakers will sell for $150.
The apparel line, in particular, features two collections offered in gray and in black. The clothing takes inspiration from the West Point Academy football team, boasting largely a monochromatic military aesthetic.
The Stan Smiths, known for their pristine looks and frequent collaborations, comes in premium leather and will match the accompanying apparel colors. The footwear features a pop of tan on the suede heel overlay, along with the Trefoil and logo from the Canadian menswear brand. The black version is monochromatic.
“The resulting collection intends to convey the brute force and rugged nature of these cadets,” said a company statement. “Ease of movement is heavily considered and garments feature articulation and gusseting while maintaining the signature Wings + Horns silhouette.”
The collection can be found at such stores as Proper, Bodega and Kith, among others, in the U.S.
